Olivia, she/her |
Hi, I'm Olivia! Coaching is the best job I've ever had. I'm honored to be a part of your journey through life and academics, learn different perspectives on navigating college, and connect you with all the resources OSU has to offer. I study Ecological Engineering and expect to graduate in 2024. I'm passionate about environmental stewardship and restoration, and I hope to pursue both in my career after college. During my breaks I like to swim at Dixon, listen to Lady Gaga, and hike through beautiful Corvallis. I look forward to getting to know you!

Lia, she/they |
Hello! My name is Lia (she/they) and I am an Honors student studying Biology with an option in Marine, with a Chemistry minor and hopefully a Marine Conservation and Management minor. I plan on going into shark conservation research when I'm done with my education. Outside of coaching, I am a leader for Sigma Delta Omega, the science sorority on campus, and have been an active part of the All University Sing Board. When I'm not being active on campus, I like to paint, make earrings, do yoga, and hang out with my kitty cat Sushi! Looking forward to meeting you, so don't be scared to reach out!

Elizabeth, she/her |
Hi there! My name is Elizabeth and I’m studying Philosophy and Education with a minor in English. Beyond Academic Coaching, I work with the Contemplative Studies Initiative and Writing Intensive Curriculum Unit, am the President of the Death and Dying Club, and am a Peer Mentor for the College of Education! I love the process of learning how to manage these various responsibilities because it helps me to better support students in navigating their own busy schedules! I still find time for myself amidst all the chaos, and love games of all kinds (board, tabletop, video, etc), reading, and keeping up with local coffee shops and Corvallis businesses! I'd love to hear about all of your favorite places when we meet up!

Madeline, she/her |
Hi! My name is Madeline and I’m a fourth year Music major with a minor in Vocal Performance. Beyond music-related activities, I spend a lot of my time involved in theater productions, both on and off campus. I’m a huge fan of competitive debate—this is my third year on the OSU Forensics team. I also enjoy rollerblading, playing piano, reading graphic novels, and hanging out with my cats (or any cats). In the future, I hope to engage in meaningful art and have a career working with kids. I look forward to meeting you!

Valerie, she/her |
Hi! My name is Valerie and I’m super excited to be one of your academic coaches! I’m currently a Biochemistry/Molecular Biology major with a pre-med option and working towards a goal of being a primary care physician someday. I’m also minoring in music performance! I play the oboe in OSU’s Wind Ensemble, and sometimes the Orchestra. Along with school, I am a research assistant in the Rockey Lab at OSU, where we work with chlamydial infections and genomics, and I work as a medical scribe in the Samaritan Emergency Department. Outside of school, I love teaching and performing music, spending time with my friends, and doing any kind of crafting activity. I’m really looking forward to seeing you around! |

William, he/him |
Hello! My name is William and I’m a Natural Resource major with a minor in environmental law! My hope is to graduate in 2025 and attend law school specializing in environmental criminal law. I love being an academic coach because not only do I get to help out folks with all varieties of academic assistance but also it helps me gain new insights into my own academic career and how I can best excel myself. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, whether that means fishing, hiking, or just studying outside! I can’t wait to meet y’all and hope I can help with your academic journey. | |
Woodrós, they/them |
Hi! I’m Woodrós (“wood” like the tree and “rós” like “adiós”) and I love supporting folks’ transformation! That’s why I love coaching & supporting coaches in higher ed. (And used to teach middle school and be a community organizer.) I have mostly lived in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, but also: Indiana, Illinois, rural Pennsylvania, Colorado, Georgia, Arizona, and London. I also love to learn! My degrees are from Lewis & Clark College (English major, theatre minor, psychology nerd) and Marylhurst University (Master of Arts in Teaching). When I’m not coaching or working for peer education on campus, you might find me reading with a cat on my lap, bouldering with friends, or selling art at the Corvallis Artisan’s Market. |
